Blackwood Wines have used the tiger print as their distinctive logo.
This is because of many local sightings of the Nannup Tiger (thylacine).
Locals believe the striped, wolf-like marsupial lives in the jarrah forest
surrounding Nannup.
The tiger print is a reminder that the marsupiall mysteriously appears only to vanish again into thin air, leaving only footprints in the clay to hint that it ever appeared at all.
Like the Nannup Tiger, the Blackwood Winery is just waiting to be discovered.
Browse around the antiques and works of art before tasting the wine either indoors or out on the verandah which overlooks a scenic lake.
