FISHBONE SCORES THREE WINES IN PETER FORRESTALS

"QUAFF 2008 - THE BEST WINES IN AUSTRALIA UNDER $15"

FISHBONE MERLOT 2006 - BLOODY GOOD

"The third vintage of this very successful second label from the Blackwood Wines winery in Western Australia’s timber country shows its consistency with merlot: Good for the first two years and now “Bloody Good”. No other winery has done as well with this difficult variety in the past few years. This is a bold and full-flavoured with richness, concentration and depth of plumy fruit well-integrated with restrained cedary oak, velvety texture and supple, balanced tannins.”"

FISHBONE SHIRAZ 2006 - GOOD

"Another wine to stand out from this small WA producer: pepper and spice, ripe sweet brambly flavours and gentle succulence"

FISHBONE SWEETLIPS 'LATE HARVEST VERDELHO 2007' – BLOODY GOOD

"Fishbone is the highly successful second label for the Blackwood Wines winery in WA. They certainly hit my sweet tooth here with a very sweet white that has floral aromas, juicy tropical fruit and honey flavours, and reasonably crisp cleansing acidity. Some may find it too sweet, but just as many will love it”
